View from Clinton Forks, Milford Track

The Milford Track follows along the banks of the Clinton River to Clinton Forks, where the main river splits into a northern branch, and the more known west branch which originates at the head of the Clinton Valley and Mackinnon Pass. The Milford Track has long been described as "the finest walk in the world". Located in southern New Zealand, this 3-4 day journey crosses a steep mountain pass pioneered by Quintin Mackinnon in 1888 entering into the heart of Fiordland.
